List of New York State Points of Interest

This is a very detailed database with the points of interest of New York state. For each point of interest we gather data from the Geonames database and Wikipedia. We combine both sources to provide more detailed information.

The database has 3 datasets as follows:

  • Dataset with the points of interest with more than 79k records
  • Dataset with pre-defined codes
  • Dataset with pre-defined descriptions

Examples of points of interest are cities, villages, forests, touristic attractions, parks, roads, lakes, etc.
